The medieval charms of Venice were waiting next as we traversed the Adriatic before sampling Croatian cuisine to live concerts tunes along Dubrovnik’s charming city walls protected from sea.. Then into Spain’s Gibraltar bay sheer cliffs overlooked million-year-old limestone caves dwellings home to wild apes spotted around local town squares up close!
We then cruised along picturesque French Riviera lining chic beach towns Monaco royalty etched en route while passing Corsica Napoleon roots small villages set under jagged mountain landscapes traditional local delicacies getting taste tested onboard! Lazing on beaches la Croisette Cannes people watching or wandering narrow alleyways Nice surrounded Provençal scents sounds buzz street markets meeting artisans artists sharing talents !
Our voyage ended reevaluating everything previously known about Malta’s capital Valletta .It’s ecletic architecture spanning millennia stands testament centuries struggle domination Crusaders Turks finally achieving independence welcoming traveller relish mixtures empire explore numerous heritage or natural sites exist within relatively small island, walking distance from each other. Still having pockets of calm sense community throughout the lively cellars teeming locally sourced wine!
